Leader of leading Rare Disease Company (CENTOGENE) enters in the Finals of EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2019
CENTOGENE is the leading rare disease organization focusing over the transformation of genetic, biochemical and clinical data to medical solutions for their patients. Also, they are very much focused at getting rational decisions in terms of treatment along with advancing the developing new FDA approved orphan drugs. Additionally, orphan drugs are mostly used for treating diseases like X-linked hypophosphatemia, polycystic kidney disease and cystic fibrosis. And with their deep knowledge over the rare disease market they have been excelling across the world, also creating hope amongst the patients and their families with rare diseases.
The company has recently announced that their Founder & CEO, Arndt Rolfs has been shortlisted for the EY ‘Entrepreneur of the Year 2019’ for Germany. Along with him entrepreneurs from 38 companies have successfully managed to get in the finals this year.
EY ‘Entrepreneur of the Year program that was launched in 1986 is amongst most prestigious business awards across the world. This competition in Germany has successfully established itself within 60 countries and is backed by prestigious companies as well as media, including a strategic consulting enterprise for communication Kekst CNC, the manager Magazin, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and LGT. Moreover, the program has not only been designed to honor successful entrepreneurs but also for promoting the young entrepreneurs with their program named "EY NextGen Academy".
The final results will be publicized on 25th October, 2019 in Stuttgart. This award show will be held at a festive gala in the Museum of Mercedes-Benz, where EY is going to celebrate their centennial in Germany. The ceremony will commence with the welcoming speech of Mr. Winfried Kretschmann- Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg.
The prizes in the ceremony are expected to be awarded in the industry categories including digital transformation, consumer goods/service, IT service and start-ups. Moreover, EY even honors a model family business as well as entrepreneurial personality with awards for their exceptional commitments.
